The Spencerville Mixed-Up Blooper Ball League is a 10 team league based out of Spencerville, Ontario that has been active since 1984. There is a minimum age requirement of 19 years old to play in the league. Each year we welcome new players to join as well as welcome back the returning players, some who have been around since the leagues beginning. The skill level in the league ranges from those who have never played softball and are looking for an active social activity for the summer to those who have played ball their whole lives. This diverse skill level allows the league to focus on its main priority which is having fun, but also allows for some healthy competition. The league is capped off by a year end tournament where a league champion is crowned, and a banquet held afterwards where arguably the most important hardware is handed out. The Hammy Blair Award, which is awarded to the team displaying the spirit of good fun and sportsmanship, as is the intention of our league.
